Selma E. Lintz (Cohen) a longtime Arlington resident, passed away on Feb.25,2010 at her daughter's home in Woburn , MA. Selma was born in Boston, MA and resided in Malden,MA prior to her residency in Arlington,MA. Predeceased by her Husband Raymond D. Lintz in 2003. Selma is survived by her daughters; Linda Lintz of Medford, Janet Lucreziano of Woburn and Caren Cucinotta of Ocala,FL.
She leaves 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Selma was also predeceased by her Brother,
Nathaniel Cohen of NH. Funeral services will be held at a later date.
For many years Selma was employed at MIT as a Keypunch Operator. She also enjoyed careers as a a Hairdresser and Barber in the Melrose area as well as her career as a Real Estate Agent in Arlington,MA.
Selma was instrumental in bringing awareness to those suffering with Dyslexia , and was Vice President in an original Dyslexia Foundation headquartered in Belmont,MA .
