Christina Maria Cicalis-Gorman, of Arlington, MA, passed away on December 10, 2019. Beloved wife of Martin E. Gorman, III. Devoted mother of Jana E. Gorman, Martin C. Gorman, and Jeffrey J. Gorman. Loving daughter of the late Charles and Jean Cicalis. Loving sister of Charles Cicalis and his wife Myra, and John Cicalis and his wife Andria. Also survived by 2 nieces and many relatives and friends. Christina dedicated her life and her love to her husband Martin, and her three children, Jana, Martin, and Jeffrey. There wasn't a thing she wouldn't do for her family. Some of the things she loved most include attending her children's sporting events, supporting her family however she could, including caring for her late mother who passed away in 2018, and spending time with her family in Falmouth. Christina cherished all of the opportunities that she had to travel with her parents in her younger years, and she even graduated high school in Athens, Greece. In addition to being the best caregiver any husband or child could dream of, she began her career as a Registered Nurse, working at Boston Children's Hospital, and she worked as a Registered Nurse at the Brigham and Women's Hospital Newborn Intensive Care Unit for over 25 years. Funeral Service on Monday, December 16, 2019 at St. Athanasius The Great Greek Church, 4 Appleton St., Arlington, MA at 10AM. I am so sad to hear of Chris passing. She was a compassionate NICU nurse who took the best care of her families and babies. She was a pleasure to work with and will be missed by many. Thinking of all of her family and so sorry for your loss. 🙏

I sat next to Chris at so many lacrosse games. She was one of the kindest people I ever met. She was so proud of her family and did so much to support all of their activities. I know she will truly be missed by all. My deepest condolences to her family, friends and colleagues.

We are so saddened by the loss of a beautiful lady and dear friend. We watched our boys together on the baseball field and the hockey rink and enjoyed many dinners out together. Our hearts are broken for Marty, Marty, Janna and Jeff. Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this difficult time. Remembering Chris today and always with much LOVE

Chris was one of the kindest nurses I ever worked with at the Brigham NICU. Everyone loved Chris - patients and staff alike.. She was a smart and compassionate nurse, and her smile could light up a room. It was an honor and a privilege to have known her. I am deeply saddened by the tremendous loss of this genuinely beautiful woman. My heart goes out to her family.
