Jacqueline Pierre-Louis was born August 3, 1930 in Jérémie, Haiti to the Jean-Felix and Pierre-Louis families. She was the eldest child of 11 children. In 1950, Jacqueline married her childhood sweetheart, Albert Jean-Pierre. Their love was exemplary of what relationships should be. Jacqueline and Albert were friends since they were 5 years old. They grew up in the same neighborhood, were schoolmates and were inseparable until death did them part on September 17, 2017.

Jacqueline earned her name as “Mommy Keket” amongst her family and the Cambridge community due to her enormous heart and desire to love and care for everyone. Her home was open to all. It was important for her to instill the core values of family, relationships, and culture. Everyone that crossed paths with Mommy Keket was automatically moved by her kind, caring and nurturing demeanor. She had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way. Mommy Keket enjoyed cooking, listening to classical French music, and of course watching wrestling. She was an active member in the Catholic Church and was known for memorizing the traditional Roman Catholic Mass in Latin.

In 1968, Mommy Keket arrived in the United States for a permanent stay with plans to transition her whole family. While in the states she worked hard to provide a stable home for her children. Mommy Keket worked at the Boston Prudential Center, Fernald State School and Sheraton Hotel. She became a stay-at-home mother after approximately 15 years of working as a provider. Mommy Keket dedicated her remaining years of her beautiful life to loving and caring for her growing family.

Mommy Keket is now with her beloved Albert in heaven. She’ll be remembered by her 10 children Pierre Albert (Late), Myrtho, Yanick, Kettline, Cherly, Patrick (Late), Marie-Flore, Marie L- Yvenard, Jamill, and Moses. In addition to being a mother of ten children, she was blessed to be acknowledged as a mother to Marie-Flore Roberson, Anne-Marie Desjardins, Ronny Laguerre and Loretta Manigat, Yvon Lamour, Eddy Toussaint, Jean-Robert Boisrond, Robert Goodwin and Michael Daniliuk. She is survived by 18 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren. Mommy Keket will be reunited with her late siblings Lydia, Henriette, Marie- Rogert, Jean Delince, and Suzanne. She will be survived by her siblings, Pierrette, Lucner, Jean Lyonel, and Suzette. The legacy and memories that Jacqueline and Albert left with family and the larger community are immeasurable. Jacqueline will be missed dearly by all left here on earth.

Fly High to our beloved mother, beloved grandmother, beloved aunt, and blessed Angel.
