Obituary

Leate, James I. of Woburn formerly of Belmont on April 24th. Beloved husband of the late Lucy R. Chiccarelli-Leate (Frangiosa). Cherished father of Cindy Norton and her husband John of Billerica and James Leate of Rhode Island, and step father of Louie, Anna, Mary, Jimmy, and Joseph Chiccarelli. Also survived by loving grandchildren Shane and Chad Norton, Angela, Joseph, Christopher, Nicholas, Anthony, Michael, Sean and Anthony Chiccarelli. Brother of Gladys Leone, Margaret Simpson, and the late John Leate. Due to the current precautions surrounding COVID-19 a private burial will take place in the family lot of Highland Cemetery, Norwood. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in memory of James to Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd, Waltham, MA 02452. Please visit devitofuneralhome.com to send an online condolence.
